IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING COVID-19 COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY DIRECTIVES
Updated Alert Regarding COVID-19
CHURCH SCHEDULE UPDATE
as of March 23, 2020
Out of concern for the health and well-being of all, and in light of the directives offered by the state of Illinois, Bishop Pates, the apostolic administrator of the Diocese of Joliet, has dispensed the faithful of the Diocese from the obligation of Sunday Mass and all Masses, confession times, and public church services and devotions have been cancelled until further notice.
All Masses will be offered privately for the intentions that have been promised. Don’t forget to make a spiritual communion:
“My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.”
There will be no public celebration of Masses, liturgies, and devotions during Holy Week and Easter.
The church, chapel, and school, as well as the Parish, Religious Education, and School Offices, are closed.
